Cheapest way to sent a courier to Germany from India.

The courier that I am talking about does not include document, but only the stuff that you are allowed to send by air. s

Which is the cheapest way?
The registered post from Indian post is the cheapest way to send a parcel to Europe especially in Germany. The parcel will be handled by Indian post in India and its counterpart is DHL in Germany. The most spectacular part is that if you want to send a parcel via DHL from India they will charge up-to 2 or 3 fold the money that you pay for Registered post. As an example, for 5 Kg Most private operators (DHL) will charge you 4000-5000Rs  whereas Registered post will cost you only around 2000Rs.

How to send it?
It is easy, just carry the stuff to the main post office near you, they will provide the box which you can put the article. For safety purposes, the parcel should be packed in front of a postman.

How to track it?
This is the tricky part, India post will not update the status regularly. It is a fact so I have found a way to overcome this fault.
Go to India post tracking here
Enter the tracking Id [looks like CL000000000IN]
Look for the status if it says " Exchange Office (INDIA) - Article Bagged"
Then it is shipped from India and you can not track it anymore, so go to DHL Track and Trace here
and enter the same ID .
If you see like "The shipment has arrived at the export parcel centre" sit back and relax they will update the status regularly and you will get it within 2-3 days depending upon the location. For me, it took 10 days in total to ship it from India.

Note that you may have to go to the parcel office in order to collect it, but as you can track it is easy to find it and to collect it.
